My crash also at 1.0.6 and 1.0.8b, Wlan work on both. Really frustrating. Nice tablet, but the quality control seems not good. I cannot say, is it hardware failure or buggy rom, but the crashes of the system threads from google are mysterious, software update? i use other tablets, run rock solid, is the first that is completly unusable.

Hello FNF-Team,

a couple of days ago I received my new Ifive Mini 4S tablet. Nice device. I like it a lot.

It is a device which was recently produced by FNF and it has got the serial number: BCM10BFF001848
It came preinstalled with the firmware mentioned in the first post.

When I started the tablet all is well and good. However after I registered my account with Google, the Play Store updates and after that Apps of all kind began to crash all the time. Sometimes the whole tablet reboots out of the blue! I have to say it has become pretty unusable for me and I consider this state of its software inacceptable and I have to urge you to fix this / these errors.

Since I'm a rather tech savvy guy I had a look at the logs (logcat -b all) and I would like to show you what is in my opinion the main culprit of these problems:
I hope you can make sense of it and are able to provide a fix. If I can lend you a helping hand, please feel free to contact my and I will test new versions.

thanks and best regards,
Dfahren

Hi, I have a diferent problem. I just got tablet from Gearbest and it's running firmware V1.0.8B but when I try  to turn on WiFi the tablet reboots for some reason. I flashed older V1.0.6 firmware and Wifi is working ok. Maybe you should look into that.

@adnanche : Fascinating! Really fascinating. Does FNF know which tablet has which hardware? I have the impression they don't. Well, I tried 1.0.6 and 1.0.8B, both of them had my tablet crash. In the meantime I think it has some hardware fault (faulty DRAM module presumably).
Keep my fingers crossed that you get your problem sorted!

received today with the 1.0.8b but is so f**ng buggy!
the wifi is ABSOLUTELY INSTABLE! a moment is working, after a minute is disconnected, then reconnected, then disconnected and disabled (all automatically!) and I can't reactivate since I restart the tablet!
DAMN!

I also have the tablet with SN beginning with letter "B" and firmware 1.0.8b.

It's totally unusable.

It will load AT BEST one webpage before turning wifi of permanently (sometimes wifi fixer app will fix it after about 10 mins but the same thing immediately happens) or it will just freeze the tablet entirely requiring a reboot or in some cases reboot itself as soon as page starts loading.

Can anyone else confirm that 1.0.6 may fix this like it did for @adnanche?

Trying to downgrade to version 1.0.6 using the factory tool just gets me into Android Recovery mode, any ideas what I'm missing?
